Baines changes plea to guilty

Former multi-millionaire businessman Trevor Baines has admitted stealing over £900,000.

The 71 year old originally denied the charge against him and his trial was due to get underway today.

His wife Wendy has also submitted a last minute change of plea having originally denied obtaining £45,000 by deception.

Their former advocate Jenny Holt pleads not guilty to falsifying or concealing documents, entering into an agreement and doing acts against public justice.

Baines and his wife will be sentenced following the trial.
