Vandals have caused around £1000 worth of damage to a climbing frame at one of the Island's primary schools.

Nine ropes have been cut through on the climbing frame at Murray's Road Junior School over a period of months.

The £16,000 frame is only three years old, and was bought with money raised through the Parent Teacher Association.

Children are currently unable to use the section which has been damaged.

Anyone with information relating to this vandalism is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
