Cannan unhappy with unanswered questions

An MHK is angry that not all questions were answered in this week's House of Keys sitting.

David Cannan believes the public are being denied the due process of democracy when Question Time is not extended past 11.00AM.

Questions are scheduled to last for one hour, but can continue for longer if 16 or more members agree.

Only 13 were in favour of extending yesterday's session, even though seven questions were unanswered.

Mr Cannan tabled a motion last year asking that Question Time be extended to midday, but it was unsuccessful.
