Electricity charges set to increase

Thu, 03 Mar 2011

Electricity bills on the Isle of Man are set to increase by over £40 a year from next month.

The Manx Electricity Authority is stopping a rebate on the standing charge from April.

The change was approved in last year's budget.

It follows recent price hikes from Manx Gas and Manx Telecom
