Gaiety show cancelled after water pipe bursts

A burst water pipe is causing problems for the Gaiety Theatre.

The emergency lighting system within the building is damaged and tonight's performance of 'Anything Goes' has been had to be cancelled.

The theatre will reopen when the broken equipment has been repaired.

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it's unable to guarantee any future performances of 'Anything Goes' will be able to take place.

A further announcement will be made at noon tomorrow.
