Acting head takes on role permanently

The acting headteacher at St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School is to keep the job permanently.

Tim Short has been confirmed as the new headteacher at the school.

He's been acting head since the start of the current school year, and has been the school's deputy head since 1985.

Mr Short says he's delighted to continue working with the community at St Mary's
