Commissioners disappointed over GP decision

Michael Commissioners are disappointed that medical facilities in the village won't be moving.

A consultation revealed residents in the area were against the idea of moving the surgery to an empty part of the local primary school.

The Commissioners had supported the idea, along with the Departments of Health and Education and Children.

However, Michael MHK David Cannan was critical of the plans.

The Commissioners say it was a plausable solution to medical facilities in Kirk Michael, but that the opportunity has now been lost
