Crutchlow to take part in TT parade lap

An Isle of Man based Moto GP rider will take part in a parade lap at this year's TT.

Cal Crutchlow will join fellow Moto GP competitor Nicky Hayden for the lap on Wednesday of race week.

The Ramsey resident asked to take part in the event after hearing five-time world champion Mike Doohan would also be taking part.

It'll be the first time he's ridden on the TT course whilst it's been closed

Crutchlow is in his first year of Moto GP, and is currently 11th in the standings after four rounds.
