Tree brings down power cables in Sulby

A fallen tree has brought down power cables in Sulby.

The tree is at the Kerrowmooar Road near the Ginger Hall.

The road was closed to traffic whilst the tree was removed, but re-opened shortly after midday

A second tree fell on the Jurby to Ramsey road, blocking the area for a short time

Meanwhile the Mountain Road will remain open, as the Department of Infrastructure can not carry out planned works in today's weather conditions

There's also been a diesel spill on the Andreas to Ramsey road. Motorists are urged to be cautious
