Visible police presence aims to reduce crashes

Mon, 30 May 2011

Police patrols will be stepped up on the Island's roads as TT fortnight gets underway.

As part of this year's safety campaign, officers aim to have a visible presence across the Island aiming to prevent accidents and punishing those who risk causing them.

The campaign also sees posters displayed around the Island, urging bikers to meet their mates not their maker.

Deputy Chief Constable Gary Roberts explains how officers will be policing the roads throughout TT [play clip]
