Major works continue on Victoria Road

The next phase of works on a busy Douglas road will begin next week.

A footway refurbishment scheme will be carried out on Victoria Road between the entrance to Shoprite and Glencrutchery Road.

The works are expected to take five weeks to complete, and will see traffic lights in operation during working hours.

There'll also be a daily closure on Little Switzerland, prohibiting vehicular access to properties between 8.00am and 4.30 in the afternoon.

The works get underway on Monday
