Parrot found safe and sound

A parrot that made a nuisance of itself on the TT course is now safely in the hands of a vet.

A police appeal was issued earlier after the red and green parakeet began disrupting traffic in Lezayre this morning.

It was thought the bird was injured but it turns out this wasn't the case.

Arg Bein Vets in Ramsey is now issuing an appeal for the owner to come forward.
