Maiden victory for Holden and Winkle in the sidecars

Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle lost out on a fourth consecutive sidecar victory after mechanical problems saw them drop down the positions after originally leading the race.

It meant John Holden and Andrew Winkle took their first ever TT win.

Klaffenbock had led from the start but began falling back on the final lap, eventually finishing in 6th.

Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott finished in second place.

Tony Elmer and Darren Marshall pipped Tim Reeves and Greg Cluze to third.
