No life threatening injuries says S100 club

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

The Southern 100 club says no-one involved in last night's incident sustained life threatening injuries.

Racing was abandoned after a crash at Billown dip during the 600cc race.

The abandonment was due to the state of the road, and police insisting on making a full investigation into what happened.

The area of the collision remained closed for some time after the remainder of the course opened.

The final day of racing gets underway later.

Revised race schedule

Roads close: 9.50am

Race 7B 600CC: 10.15am

Race 7 600CC: 10.50am

Race 6 125/400CC: 11.20am

Sidecar practice 11.50am
