Contents of Africa House go under the hammer
Wed, 03 Aug 2011
Personal possessions belonging to former millionaire Trevor Baines are being put up for sale by the coroner.
Mr Baines suffered a very public fall from grace when he was convicted of money laundering and theft.
The 71 year old is currently in jail at Jurby.
The businessman is thought at one point to have amassed a £130m fortune, but is now said to be penniless.
Some of the contents of his home, Africa House in Douglas, including furniture and paintings are going under the hammer tomorrow.
