Planning submitted for new apartments on Summerhill

The site as it looked when it was occupied by Protours

Permission is being sought to build an apartment block on the Summerhill Quarry site in Douglas.

The site was the former home of Protours coach company which moved in 2009.

The application for 68 apartments includes the demolition of one of the houses on Summerhill to allow access for vehicles.

A previous application to build flats on the land was refused in 2007.
