An aircraft has landed safely following an emergency at Ronaldsway this evening.

The Dornier 228 was preparing to land at the Island when the pilot experienced a problem with the right engine.

Four fire engines attended the airport as a precaution, but the aircraft landed safely shortly before 7.30pm
