Stolen car abandoned on tram tracks

Police are appealing for witnesses after a stolen car was found abandoned near the Liverpool Arms.

The Lexus IS 200 had been crashed and left near the Onchan pub in the early hours of Friday morning.

Officers say the car was travelling towards Baldrine when it was crashed into a hedge, before being abandoned on the tram lines at Groudle Road.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
