More information due soon for Bay Festival ticket holders

HMV is due to release further information to Isle of Man Bay Festival ticket holders.

The festival was cancelled by the organiser Jonathon Irving in May and people have been left waiting to find out if and when they will get their money back.

HMV was the ticket agent for the event.

Although HMV's website does say it will give refunds for cancelled events, it was announced that the money from ticket sales had been given to Mr Irving who wanted to handle things himself.

The original deadline last month wasn't met and talks were continuing between HMV and Mr Irving.

The outcome of these discussions is due to be known no later than tomorrow.
