An MHK seeking re-election says over 90% of his constituents are worried about the Island's finances.

Eddie Teare, the current member for Ayre, says the economy is the main topic he's being asked about whilst canvassing voters.

The Minister for Education and Children is seeking a second full term in the House of Keys, having won his seat in a by-election in 2004.
