An election candidate standing in Rushen wants the Island to become an enterprise zone.

Laurence Skelly believes the Island should be targeting new industries to boost the Manx economy.

He'd also like to see the creation of a Manx savings bond, similar to that already in place in the UK.

The businessman explains which industries he thinks will be good for the Island's future [play clip]

Also standing in Rushen are outgoing members Phil Gawne, Quintin Gill and Juan Watterson, along with former MHK John Orme and Liberal Vannin candidate David Jones
