The missing section of the rocket
The missing section of the rocket

A potentially record breaking rocket, lost during an experiment, may be on the Isle of Man.

The Black Streak rocket was launched from the Mull of Galloway in Scotland last week, in an attempt to break the height record for an amateur rocket launched in the UK.

The section which records how high the rocket reached is lost.

Weather and tidal charts suggest it may be in the Isle of Man.

The missing section is a little over a metre in length, and is bright orange with a black tip.

Anyone who spots the rocket can contact Torben Steeg on 07801 541690.
