OFT warns of dangerous lighters for sale on IoM

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is warning the public not to use extra large lighters.

The lighters, often described as giant, XXL and Jumbo, have been for sale on the Island recently.

The OFT says they've failed a number of safety checks and could be dangerous if used.

Retailers are advised to stop selling such items as they could face enforcement from Trading Standards in the future.

There have been reports of such items causing burns to children in the UK.
