Ramsey homes refurbished under budget

Eighteen public sector houses in Ramsey have been refurbished under budget.

The work in Brookhill Road and Seamount Road cost £900,000, around £25,000 less than forecast.

Work to the homes included re-roofing, new fences and fitting of new kitchens and bathrooms.

The project also allowed Ramsey Commissioners to rehouse some tenants in smaller property, freeing up some of its larger houses.
