Water bowsers with emergency supplies for those without water are being set up around the affected area.

The Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority is setting up the tanks in the Horse and Plough car park at the Isle of Man Business Park, in Marown School Car Park and in the lay by on the main road in Crosby outside the former Crosby wholesalers site.

Anyone using the water is advised to boil it beforehand.

Residents in Farmhill, Anagh Coar, Glen Vine and Crosby could be without water for several hours after a water main burst this morning.

Further information is available from the Authority on 69 59 49.
