Government looks for more savings from property

Tue, 20 Sep 2011

The government's launched a review of the properties it owns with the aim of selling off surplus assets.

In the last couple of years, £1.85 million worth of property has been sold off.

Now there's to be a co-ordinated review across all departments of what buildings they own, why they continue to be held and whether or not they're still needed.
