Manx space firm joins leading organisation

Mon, 10 Oct 2011

A Douglas based space organisation is now a member of the space community's most prestigious institution.

The International Institute of Space Commerce has been accepted as a member of the International Astronautical Federation.

The Department of Economic Development says it's a milestone for the Island's space industry, and that it recognises the Island's efforts to be recognised as a central location in the space economy.

Last year the Isle of Man was named the fifth most likely country to return to the moon.
