The new Home Affairs Minister is to be asked whether his Department is looking at bringing in Sarah's Law.

Under the previous Minister, the Department initially refused to bring in the legislation, but did a u-turn just before the General Election by setting up a group to look into the law.

The law allows parents to find out whether people in contact with their children have sex offence convictions.

Douglas North MHK Bill Henderson has been a supporter of a campaign on the Island to have Sarah's law brought in.

He'll ask Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson what the Department's stance is now, when the House of Keys sits on Tuesday
