The General Manager of the Curraghs Wildlife Park has retired after nearly 25 years in charge.

Nick Pinder became the second manager of the park in 1987.

The 40 acre site was brought into the international zoo community whilst Mr Pinder was in charge, and has been recognised as an internationally important wetland habitat

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it wishes Mr Pinder a happy retirement, in which he intends to continue wildlife conservation.
