Bankers association warns of fraudsters

Fraudsters have been targeting Isle of Man residents by claiming to be calling from their bank.

The Isle of Man Bankers Association is warning that its received reports of colds callers contacting Manx customers and asking for personal details.

The organisation says banks will never ask for a full pin or password, and that anyone asking for such information should not be given it.

The Bankers Association says anyone who receives a suspicious call should contact their bank immediately.
