Steven Bevan elected to Ramsey Commissioners

There's a new face on the board of Ramsey Commissioners.

An election was held yesterday to find a new member to replace MHK Leonard Singer.

In a closely fought contest, 40 year old Steven Beven was elected with 275 votes.

There were just nine votes separating him and the other contender Stephen Rand.

Mr Bevan will serve until 30th April 2012.
