More grandstands for TT fans in 2012

Temporary grandstands are to be erected around the TT course next year.

The Fan Zones will also have free wifi, parking and toilet facilities.

The zones will be at Crosby Jump, Rhencullen, Ballacrye, Ginger Hall and the Creg ny Baa.

Each area will seat 200 to 300 people.

The Department of Economic Development says it wants to make sure fans have a wide choice of options for watching the races.

Tickets for the seats will be between £20 and £25 for race days, and £5 for the final practice session.
