Scope of government to be re-examined

The Chief Minister says the Manx Government has been in 'considerable disarray' over the last 18 months since it was restructured.

Allan Bell made the comment in the House of Keys today as he announced the original committee set up to look at the scope and structure of government is being reformed.

However, this time round only the scope will be reviewed, as Mr Bell believes this is a top priority.

The statement was made in response to a question from Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen.

Mr Bell says the structure of government won't be revisited, at least at the moment.[play media file below]
