Charity optimistic following challenging year

Tue, 06 Dec 2011

The Chief Executive of an Isle of Man charity has described 2011 as a challenging year.

George Quayle says Age Concern Isle of Man is facing 2012 with quiet optimism following the last year.

The organisation scaled back the number of events it held, for fewer but more ambitious fundraising events.

Next year the charity will be re-branded as Age Isle of Man, and says it's in a good place to continue to serve the Isle of Man having come through 2011 alive and flourishing
