More changes to sailings following delays yesterday

Thu, 15 Dec 2011

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled more sailings as it catches up from yesterday's delays.

Passengers on the 7.45 crossing to Heysham tonight have been moved to the 8.45 journey tomorrow morning.

The Ben will only take freight this evening.

Passengers on today's sailings were moved onto the Manannan, which will return from Heysham at 2.15pm.

The Ben's 8.45am and 2.15pm sailings have been cancelled to allow later sailings to go as scheduled.

The vessel was delayed yesterday after being unable to dock in Heysham due to strong winds and a manoeuvrability problem.

The Ben goes into dry dock tomorrow to have it's repaired bow thruster re-fitted.
