Pedestrian seriously injured in Hop Garden crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a van near the Hop Garden.

A white Renault Van hit the man at around 3.20 on Thursday afternoon.

The pedestrian was taken to Noble's Hospital with serious injuries, and has been admitted for observations.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision, or witnessed the van or pedestrian on the Mount Murray side over the road before the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit.
