Isle of Man looks for business in Middle East and Asia

Sat, 11 Feb 2012

The Isle of Man is looking to attract more business from the Middle East and Asia.

With spending cuts in the UK and the ongoing crisis in the Euro Zone, the Department of Economic Development says it's targeting countries in the Far East, India and the Middle East for inward investment.

The strategy is part of the DED's plans to make the Isle of Man the leading small international business centre in the world.

Business Development Director Tim Craine says just a small portion of business from these countries would make a huge difference [play clip]
