Fri, 24 Feb 2012

Fire crews had to help a woman out of her car following a crash near the Hop Garden last night.

A Vauxhall Corsa and Renault Megane Scenic were involved in the collision at around 7.30 yesterday evening.

Ambulance crews treated the Corsa driver at the scene after fire officers freed her from the car. The occupants of the Renault were able to be picked up from the scene by a relative.

Fire crews spent around forty minutes at the site of the crash and the road remained closed for around 3 hours whilst police carried out investigations.
