Horse dies following road accident

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident involving a group of horses and a classic car.

No people were hurt but one of the animals was seriously injured and had to be put to sleep.

It happened at around 3.45pm yesterday on the Andreas Coast Road, in between the junctions with the Leodest Road and the Smeale Road.

The car involved was a green 1920s style Bentley.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who saw the car being driven beforehand.
