Manx public open homes to soggy TT campers
Fri, 08 Jun 2012
Bike fans that have been affected by the bad weather are being offered a lifeline by kind hearted members of the public.
A Facebook campaign has been set up by local man Adrian Christian who wanted to help those people camping following the bad weather.
Hundreds of local people have now offered to open their homes, provide spare bedrooms, hot showers, meals and washing and drying facilities for free.
Adrian said he’d been overwhelmed by the response from the public. (Play media file below)
Anyone who would like to help should contact Adrian on 801437 or 33490 or e-mail achristian@manx.net.
