Karran could be given a new government role

Sat, 14 Jul 2012

The Chief Minister says he didn't make a mistake in appointing Peter Karran as the Education and Children Minister.

The decision was seen as controversial by many and ultimately ended in the Liberal Vannin leader being sacked from the post, with Peel MHK Tim Crookall taking his place.

Allan Bell says he wanted his cabinet to reflect a government with no doors closed off to any members.

He hopes he can find Mr Karran another role within government.[play media file below]
