Public asked to donate Christmas presents

Fri, 02 Nov 2012

Every child on the Isle of Man should have a present to open on Christmas Day.

That’s the mission of the Salvation Army and Isle of Man Bank who are working together to achieve this for the eighth year running.

The Salvation Army says this time of year highlights the division between those in society who have enough to live on and those for whom life is a continual struggle.

Members of the public are being asked to buy one extra Christmas present this year and leave it unwrapped at any of the Isle of Man Bank branches where it will be collected by volunteers and distributed around the Island.
