Just 1% of land has trees in the Isle of Man

Are there enough trees in the Isle of Man?

According to the Manx Woodland Trust the answer's a resounding 'no'.

Roughly one per cent of the Island is occupied with trees, compared with 12 per cent in England and an impressive 21 per cent in Scotland.

Sean Gilbert is from online directory Ecopages - the company's planting trees every time they get an Isle of Man listing in conjunction with the Woodland Trust.

He says the Island needs to be proactive in this area:
