The Social Care and Treasury Ministers will find themselves in the spotlight in the House of Keys today.

Chris Robertshaw and Eddie Teare will be answering all ten questions for oral answer – with five questions each.

John Houghton wants to know whether government will look at re-introducing government mortgages in light of difficulties some people face getting a mortgage from high street lenders.

The Douglas North MHK will also quiz Mr Robertshaw about his department’s intention to raise public sector rents and how much in extra benefits will be made available to tenants to offset increases.

There are eight questions requiring written answer – among them Onchan MHK Zac Hall wants the Home Affairs Minister to provide figures for the number of people who have had their hair tested for drugs at the courts and in prison.

Today’s sitting gets under way at 10am.
