Island renews support for poor nations

Tue, 29 Jan 2013

The Isle of Man will continue to help poor nations develop after pledging funding for another three years.

The International Development Committee will spend £900,000 on the Small Countries Financial Management Programme.

The two week programme was started in 2009 as a way the Island could use its financial expertise to provide nations with the resource and knowledge they need to help themselves.
