Construction and footpaths on HOK agenda

Questions about the construction industry, new sewage works in the west and vehicles causing damage to public footpaths are on the agenda in the House of Keys today.

Michael MHK Alf Cannan will ask the Treasury Minister Eddie Teare whether there is evidence of a 'black economy' operating with the construction sector, whereby untraceable cash transactions could be being made.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask where in the west of the Island have possible sites been assessed for a regional sewage plant and which area of Knockaloe Farm has been looked at.

Member for Douglas North Bill Henderson will revisit the issue of damage to footpaths and will ask what assessments are carried out by the Department of Infrastructure.
