Printing error results in book containing explicit content

A printing error has resulted in an embarrassing mix-up after copies of a local fantasy novel were found to contain explicit material.

Written by Douglas resident Adrian Bailey, Otherworld, was sent to an American company which printed the first 2,500 copies.

The book was written to raise money for the children's hospice Rebecca House.

It was only after the books were returned and a large number sold that it was realised that 20 pages of pornographic literature had been included accidentally.

Mary Doyle from the Hospice says it has been a great shame and they are now appealing for all affected copies to be returned:
