Parents and children urged to get behind March 2 Work campaign

Wed, 20 Mar 2013

Hoola-hooping, cycling and bouncing on a space hopper – just some of the ways pupils have been travelling to school since the start of the month.

It's part of the March 2 Work campaign being organised by The Children's Centre

Busy roads and uneven pavements are just some of the reasons children don't walk to school, but now the new campaign is trying to reverse that trend.

Parents are being asked to think twice about driving to school and it'salso hoped the campaign will be recognised by those in power.
