Help on hand for Island farmers

Help is on hand for farmers who have suffered particularly badly as a result of the recent adverse weather.

The Isle of Man Agricultural Benevolent Trust was founded in 1995 and responds to cases of genuine hardship.

It’s a charity that endeavours to offer financial help to those in the farming world who may need it.

Farmers across the Island are counting the cost after livestock became buried in massive snow drifts - despite many rescues hundreds of animals have died.

Chairman of the fund Graham Crowe told us more about how it could help:
