Local TT legend backs McGuinness for more wins

The last Manxman to win a solo TT says June’s races could be the closest yet.

Milky Quayle believes one of his compatriots could end the 11-year wait for a Manx winner but the competition is more fierce than ever.

Morecombe’s John McGuinness is the pundits’ choice to bag more honours – he now just seven wins away from Joey Dunlop’s all-time record of 26.

However, with a host of former winners also still in their prime, Quayle says it’s all to play for.
